Project Self-Sufficiency assists single-parent families in their efforts to achieve a college degree, secure career employment and gain economic independence and freedom from community and government assistance, while building strong and healthy families. The staff at PS-S provides personal, career, and academic counseling, scholarship assistance for tuition and child care, and, when possible, clothing and transportation.
How You Can Help
- Food donations or cash contributions to our FPC Deacons’ Closet, which arranges Easter and/or Christmas Baskets for many PS-S families
- Visit the PS-S website to join the group known as “Friends of PS-S.” That group is called upon periodically when projects need volunteer assistance
